Description

Valentine’s Day Cake Pops are the perfect sweet treat to celebrate love. These delightful bite-sized balls of cake, coated in colorful chocolate and topped with fun sprinkles, are not only visually stunning but also packed with flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) cake mix (any flavor)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup frosting (store-bought or homemade)
  • 12 oz chocolate melts (various colors)
  • 1/2 cup sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan and prepare the cake mix according to package instructions using eggs and oil. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  2. Let the cake cool completely, then crumble it into fine crumbs in a mixing bowl.
  3. Mix in the frosting until combined and dough-like.
  4. Roll the mixture into one-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Freeze for about 30 minutes until firm.
  6. Melt the chocolate melts as per package instructions. Dip each chilled ball in melted chocolate, coating thoroughly, then sprinkle on toppings before the chocolate sets.
  7. Allow them to cool completely before serving.
