- 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup ketchup (divided)
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the onion until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add garlic during the last minute.
- In a large bowl, mix ground turkey, sautéed onions and garlic, breadcrumbs, eggs, half of the ketchup, salt, and pepper until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased baking dish or on a lined baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, combine remaining ketchup with brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce; brush over the meatloaf.
- Bake for about 60 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Drizzle with any leftover glaze before serving.
