- 1 tsp grated nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Grease and line a round cake pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, toss mixed dried fruits with half a cup of flour to coat.
- In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- In another bowl, whisk together remaining flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Gradually add this mixture to the creamed mixture until just combined.
- Fold in floured fruits and nuts gently. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for about 2 hours or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow cooling before serving.
