  • 1 cup carrots, julienned

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons oil for sautéing

Instructions

  1. Marinate the sliced sirloin steak in soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Cook the rice according to package instructions.
  3. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Sauté bell peppers, bok choy, and carrots until slightly tender (about 5 minutes). Remove vegetables from skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, add marinated steak and cook until browned (about 3 minutes). Return vegetables to skillet and stir to combine; cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. Serve the steak and vegetable mixture over cooked rice and drizzle with any remaining sauce.
