Ingredients
Scale
- 8–10 lbs bone-in ham
- 1 cup pure honey
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- Whole cloves (optional for flavor)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
- In a medium bowl, combine honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, and whole cloves until smooth.
- Score the surface of the ham with shallow diamond shapes to allow the glaze to penetrate.
- Place the ham in a roasting pan lined with foil and generously brush half of the glaze over it.
- Cover loosely with foil and bake for about 1.5 hours. Remove foil during the last 30 minutes to let the glaze caramelize.
- Once done, let the ham rest for at least 20 minutes before slicing and serving with extra glaze drizzled over each slice.
