- 2 lbs butternut squash, peeled and sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh sage leaves, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic and sage until fragrant.
- Layer half the squash in a greased baking dish, pour half the cream over it, sprinkle with nutmeg and half of the sautéed mixture. Repeat the layers.
