  • 2 lbs butternut squash, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 10 fresh sage leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking dish.
  2. Layer half of the butternut squash in the baking dish. Sprinkle with half of the minced garlic and sage leaves.
  3. Add another layer of squash followed by remaining garlic and sage.
  4. Pour heavy cream evenly over the layers and top with grated Parmesan cheese.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
