Description

  • 1 package (17.3 oz) puff pastry sheets, thawed
  • 1 package (14 oz) mini hot dogs
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp water (for egg wash)
  • Optional: 2 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. On a floured surface, roll out the thawed puff pastry and cut it into rectangles about 3 inches wide.
  3. Place each mini hot dog at one end of a rectangle and roll tightly, sealing the edges.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and water for the egg wash. Brush over each rolled sausage.
  5. If desired, sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and puffy. Serve warm.
