- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 cup granulated sugar (divided)
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 8 oz whipped topping
- 6 oz strawberry Jell-O
- 2 cups fresh strawberries (sliced)
- 1 cup boiling water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, mix crushed pretzels, melted butter, and ½ cup of sugar. Press into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
- Bake for about 10 minutes until golden brown. Let cool completely.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese with remaining ½ cup of sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping and spread over cooled crust.
- In a separate bowl, dissolve the Jell-O in boiling water. Once dissolved, let cool slightly before adding sliced strawberries.
- Pour the strawberry mixture over the cream cheese layer. Cover and refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight.
- Cut into squares and serve chilled.
