- 6 cups day-old brioche or challah bread, cubed
- 1 cup fresh or dried cranberries
- Zest and juice of 2 medium oranges
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups whole milk (or almond/oat milk)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with butter or nonstick spray.
- In a large bowl, combine cubed bread and cranberries.
- In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, orange juice, and zest.
- Pour the custard mixture over the bread cubes, gently folding to combine. Allow to sit for 10 minutes.
- Transfer to the greased baking dish and bake for 45–50 minutes until golden brown and set.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Optionally drizzle with chocolate sauce or top with whipped cream.
