- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup chocolate melts (for coating)
- 3/4 cup frosting (store-bought or homemade)
- Sprinkles (for decoration)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, eggs, oil, and water until smooth. Pour into a greased baking pan and bake according to package instructions until golden brown.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Crumble the cooled cake into fine pieces in a large bowl. Mix in about 3/4 cup of frosting until well combined.
- Form small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) from the mixture and place them on a parchment-lined tray.
- Melt the chocolate melts according to package instructions. Dip each lollipop stick into melted chocolate before inserting it into each ball. Dip the cake pop into the melted chocolate and let excess drip off before decorating with sprinkles.
- Place pops upright in foam or a stand until set.
