  • 1 head fresh cauliflower (about 4 cups, chopped into florets)
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • 1 tsp sriracha or chili paste (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with sesame oil, soy sauce, honey (or maple syrup), minced garlic, and sriracha (if using) until well coated.
  3. Spread the coated cauliflower evenly on the prepared baking sheet and roast for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  4. While roasting, prepare the sticky sauce by combining additional soy sauce, honey/maple syrup, and sriracha in a saucepan over low heat until warmed through.
  5. Once roasted, drizzle the sticky sauce over the cauliflower, toss gently to coat, and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds before serving.
